Start/Finish Area (6 volunteers required, Race Day from 8:15 – 11:30 am)

  • Directing traffic at the start/finish line

  • Assisting runners in lining up for the start

  • Identifying racers that place and handing out medals at the finish

 

Food Station (2 volunteers required, Race Day from 7:00 – 11:30 am)

  • Prep food in kitchen and move to the grounds and set up space

  • Hand out food to racers

  • Ensure that food/beverage stores are replenished

 

Registration/Bag Check-in (5 volunteers required on Race Day, 3 from 7:00 – 9:00 am and 2 from 9:00 – 11:30 am)

  • Registration of racers on Saturday

  • Check-in and monitor bags for racers

  • Souvenir sales

  • Posting results as they come in

  • Bag pick-up and pick-up of items left on route

 

Race Bag Stuffing (8 volunteers required, Thursday prior to Race Day from 6:00 – 8:00 pm)

  • Prep of items and stuffing of race bags

  • Preparation of medals

 

Package Pick-up (12 volunteers required, Friday prior to Race Day, 6 from 3:45 – 6:30 pm and 6 from 6:15 – 9:00 pm)

  • Registration of Racers

  • Hand out bags and race shirts

 

Route Marshals (15 volunteers required on Race Day from 8:15 – 11:30)

  • Direct racers along the course
